Boutique Vineyard, Farm and Winery

Eureka Cellars began to take shape in 2016, when John and Wendy Maurer purchased a 10 acre parcel situated on the east side of Templeton. They’er building their house based on Amercian Modern Farm House architecture and will start planting their boutique vineyard in the spring of 2017.

The first 5 acres planted  will be of the grenache vireity, and the premiere vintage of  Eureka Cellers wines. The existing Steel Barn-style winery building will produce and store the winerys first vintage of grenache rose and the tasting room will be added to the new estate.

Since John and Wendy envisioned Eureka Cellers in 2014, they have had a clear vision of the potential of this great estate. They have steadfastly supported and shepherded only the highest standards in viticulture and winemaking. Eureka Cellars 10 acres of vineyards divided into 3 distinct blocks, allowing for highly specialized viticulture suited to each specific site.
